As a photographer, I enjoy using both the built-in and external flash for event and other types of photography. This flash is 10x more powerful and I really like the battery that comes with it. I usually deal with 4 rechargeable AAs per flash plus a spare. It's so nice that it's a main battery. While I LOVE this flash and its performance, I have to say it's not that easy to use. I would recommend this to an experienced photographer, but if you are a beginner it will take some time to get used to. There are many options and settings to manually control what you want, but it took me a while to figure it all out. And I still feel like I'm learning. Another great Neewer product. I love this brand!
