I had a 3.5mm mic that I wanted to use with the iPhone, so I knew I was going to need a dongle. I ordered Movo IMA-1 and hoped for the best. It worked perfectly. SPECIAL NOTE: The IMA-1 is designed for a TRRS microphone. If you don't know what that is, you'll have to spend a few minutes on a search engine and look at the connector on your microphone. If you do NOT have a TRSS connector, you will need a Movo MC3 3.5mm TRS to TRS adapter. The price seems a little high, but I think it's because it's a relatively small amount of sales. However, if you need to connect a 3.5mm mic to Lightning, the Movo IMA-1 is perfect. highlighted.
