The adapter for things works perfectly. I attach a microphone to it on a stand. Solid so far. Microphone audio sounds great on my iPhone 11.

I bought this Movo IMA-1 to use the 3.5mm microphone with my iPad. Recieved today. That does not work. A complete waste of money. Sorry I wish it was like that.

I was afraid to buy a new phone because the audio jack was gone, but this thing makes using a microphone for videos a breeze. The sound quality is great too! Thank you Move =)

Bought to use on my iPhone 12 Mini to record video with a small gimbal, but the gimbal is too weak to support even the light weight of this dongle. Only had to give 1 star for "volume control" as it doesn't apply. Otherwise it's perfectly fine.

Works like a charm. I didn't notice any deterioration in the sound quality. Now my lavalier mic was cheap, but it still sounded way better than my MacBook Air. (I foolishly assumed I wouldn't need the mic if I bought a new phone. Wrong. So the adapter.) I was concerned that this cheap adapter might affect the sound quality, but not my (admittedly non-professional) ears. Perfect for my YouTube videos. :)

I bought some cheap audio lighting adapters that didn't work or broke right away. This is the only one that has worked reliably (apart from the expensive official Apple). Don't waste your time on something cheaper, and don't waste your money on Apple. Movo is a nice place to work but affordable.

This dongle works with my headset. Sound and microphone work well. I use it to connect my iPhone XR to the 3.5mm jack of a gaming headset that I use to make calls from home. The gaming headset costs $40. Still cheaper than Air Pods. When I connect the dongle to the iPhone, it asks if it is connected to headphones or another device. I ignored and answered with headphones; the device still works.

I had a 3.5mm mic that I wanted to use with the iPhone, so I knew I was going to need a dongle. I ordered Movo IMA-1 and hoped for the best. It worked perfectly. SPECIAL NOTE: The IMA-1 is designed for a TRRS microphone. If you don't know what that is, you'll have to spend a few minutes on a search engine and look at the connector on your microphone.
