Review on Magnetic Dress Up Pretend Dolls & Paper Dolls Set with Accessories by Melissa Doug by Sean Julian

Disney quality Minnie without the Disney price tag! ;)

I've been buying Melissa & Doug products since my oldest daughter (now 8) was a baby! Love the quality of the brand, the use of minimal packaging material and the fact that they go the extra mile for safety testing! I bought the Minnie Wooden Dress-Up Magnetic Set for my niece for her 2nd birthday. The item was well packaged by Revain and delivered in perfect condition. The pack says 3+ but most pieces are larger. So if your 2-year-old is past the "putting everything in your mouth" phase and you're in control, you should be fine when he's a little younger. There are over 35 items to mix and match to 'dress up' Minnie, they are all made from wood and it comes with a wooden stand so you can display Minnie for even more variety in your child's play. Minnie's figure is about 7 1/2 inches tall so she's a good size but not too big and heavy for little hands! It also comes in a nice wooden box so you can keep your pieces together like most Melissa & Doug products, although there's no lid, it still works great if you put it on a shelf. As long as you keep track of the pieces, this set will be easy to pass from kid to kid, and the resale value of Melissa & Doug products is pretty great too if you decide to go down that route once you're done with it ! The only improvement I would make would be to make Minnie the most magnetic so she can stick to the door or fridge (same goes for all Melissa & Doug magnetic dolls). Overall, I like this set very much and I would buy it again as a gift or for my own child at any time.
