Looks like a great value! Unfortunately this is not the case.

I hate writing bad reviews but this one deserves it. As a budget watcher, I didn't have high hopes, but was disappointed nonetheless. looked great on my desk, appeared to be of solid mechanical construction and reasonably well designed. But: After a big disappointment, I returned it and reluctantly spent the extra $300 on a Samsung Thunderbolt. Probably good for spreadsheets or kids games, definitely not good for design work. Picture quality, color and brightness were slightly below average. Maybe I could live with mech quality if the monitor would at least connect to my devices and work as intended. 't. The USBC connection worked on one of my laptops (Lenovo Yoga, and only at a low 30Hz refresh rate), but stubbornly refused to establish a reliable connection on another (Microsoft Surface Book). It just seems like it just can't handle the Surface's charging demands, so despite hours of trying, it refused to stay connected for more than a few seconds. Definitely not a problem with my Surface. It works great on the Samsung monitor I replaced it with. Looking back, I wish I had kept it long enough to take a few photos next to the Samsung. The difference in quality is really amazing. Bottom line: if display quality (in general) is important to you, or you have a laptop with over 50-60W charging requirements, save time and money and buy a mid-range Samsung or similar.
