Black Beard Algae in my 20 gallon planted tank

--Update -- The algae started dissolving and fast. Now it is uneven and comes off in lumps. The stones pictured were 90% covered with dark hair. You can see that this is no longer a healthy color of algae. I'm guessing the green spots are cyanobacteria, but they haven't spread beyond these rocks in months. If so, I have a teal stain remover that works wonders. Another day I'll do a good 50% water change and my tank will be nice again. That is amazing. They really should advertise its algae-fighting properties more. I know this product isn't actually designed to kill algae, but it seems like a nice side benefit to help plants grow. This drives a wedge between aquatic plants and algae. Bought because I have black hair/black beard algae. He flew in on the back of a killer slug and started covering everything. It's fucking everywhere. After researching I found that there are 3 options: start over, use hydrogen peroxide, or use this stuff. Since I added the first dose 6 days ago 2 things have happened: the algae have stopped spreading and the plants that were struggling or growing slowly have started to improve dramatically. I even see 1/4 inch of new freshwater seaweed popping out from the seaweed covering it. I've never seen him grow so fast. It's a shame I didn't start it sooner. At this point the algae is not dead, but I'm sure it will as it has changed color from a very dark green to a sickly light green with rust-like spots. My Ludwigia in the future I have tetras, killer snails, amano shrimp and "pest snails" and they all seem unaffected by the product, hence 5 stars wholeheartedly. Note on snails: killer snails are not a good way of "pest snail control". They put these guys in there and they go to work eating as many pond snails as they can while they mate and lay eggs every day. My aquariums break when they all hatched. That's right, now I'm just trying to save my beautiful plants in time to relocate them, fish and shrimp. Nails too. It turned out that these are not pests. They best guarded the algae in the Aquarium Killer snails spoiled it well.
