Review on ๐Ÿท๏ธ Brother P-touch PT1230PC Label Maker - PC-Connectable, No Software Required, Multiple Label Width Options, Compact Design, White Color by Gary Duncan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good inexpensive label printer.

I've been using it for more than three years with no problems. Instead of repeating information here, read reviews that tell you how not to waste your feed. They will save you a lot of money. If you print a lot of labels, you should also buy an external power supply. This printer burns batteries at an incredible rate, and with six batteries per charge it gets expensive fast. Don't even think about using power from other devices. I have fifty of these here that are not being used and NONE ARE COMPATIBLE! (My brother connected the + to the body and the - to the center pin. Everything else is reversed.) It's great as a label printer though. The labels are almost unbreakable. One of the things I use them for is to label my tomato cages where they are exposed to the (California) weather all year round. They're still picky and will be glued to the wire next summer. I glued them to wooden blocks, coated them with different varnishes and they held tight. Putting them in the Files tab is nothing compared to that. You should download the latest P-Touch software from the Epson website. It is much more versatile than the software built into the printer. It also works with other Brother label printers like the QL-570 that I use for envelope labels. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • MULTILINE TEXT PRINTING: The flexibility of this label printer allows users to use graphics and print up to 2 lines of text per label.
Cons
