Excellent addition to the Garmin Fore Runner 235. Much more accurate and sensitive than any wrist monitor. I compared it to an EKG monitor at a cardiac rehabilitation center and it tracks great. My understanding is that all wrist monitors track the pulse in the wrist bloodstream and then calculate the average heart rate while the chest strap measures the actual heart rate. With a wrist monitor, heart rate readings lag behind actual heart rate.
