I bought the device again in March. I wanted the device to be hardwired. I hired a professional installer. In order to properly install the unit so that no wires were visible under the sink, the installer had to cut off the end of the plug. The installation of the water heater and the new dispenser went smoothly. Well, the device stopped working after 4 months. I requested a guarantee from the Ready Hot Water Company who directed you to a call center that supports 100 companies many of which have been transferred to you before contacting anyone who is a Ready Hot representative. After speaking to the first rep and explaining the whole issue to her, she advised the tech to call and discuss the issue. This was a day later. I explained the whole problem again. Then I was told to email the full press release and send it to someone else for review. Well, in the end the warranty was denied as I had removed the plug during the professional installation. Who has a socket under the sink. I asked the electrical company to come back and they said the problem was with the device and not the press. All other elements of the circuit also function properly.
