The motion detection works and it will turn off after the amount of time you specify. Hasn't been installed but for two days, therefor I cannot say much more at this time. I am pleased with it thus far.
- Used it outdoors to convert porch light for Christmas lights. Worked perfectly!
- The adapter may not be compatible with all types of light sockets
