Very well packaged. I have a Pana-Vue 2 model, which costs a little more than the non-2 model, but should have additional features. The good: It works perfectly, 2 AA batteries (including good quality branded 4 AA) very easy to install. simply by pressing the back of the device. The bolt just falls from above as expected, but if you turn it upside down it falls out. . You have to hold down the light bar while looking. It's supposed to have a table stand but it doesn't, there is room for what could be a stand but not a stand. So this is false advertising and I would buy a (slightly) cheaper version if I knew how it worked. The light bar and slide are close enough that you can use the same finger that you used to insert the slide to activate and hold the light bar. My Comments: It displays well and is bright enough for indoor viewing. I wish it had an LED in it, not a bulb that will eventually burn out (don't hit). I checked the pack again for missing content but it just wasn't in the pack as I said it didn't have a lock feature. I have several hundred slides I want to review and I will never use them again as I no longer use camera film in the digital age. So yes I can use that and I don't care about the lack of a kickstand but I do need a lock button. Just annoying what was displayed, that's not what I got. I'd say ditch that "-2" model and get a cheaper version or maybe you'll have better luck than me.
