Not as bad as other reviewers have pointed out.
I bought this despite some bad reviews stating the lock would not stay attached to the door without screws. Since the door in my case is a hollow core door I was concerned but found it held up well there. Maybe the key is to prewipe the door with some rubbing alcohol to get the double sided tape to stick? In use I found that the handle didn't have enough foam to fit snugly against the doorknob, but as long as you remember to check it's back in place you're fine. My son has not been able to open the door since we installed it which helped a lot.
