Pioneer's external Blu-ray drive is very good both in terms of looks and operation. I know it's expensive, but that's what you get for good quality and a slot-load drive. The drive itself is slim and compact. This is USB 3.0, so the read and write speed is faster than USB 2.0. It works silently during operation, which is a big plus. All in all, this external Blu-Ray drive has worked great so far with no issues. Only time will tell, but hopefully he will continue to work as a champion for many years to come.
