Review on Magnetic Levitation Suspension Air Bonsai πŸͺ΄ Pot - Levitating Flower and Air Bonsai Pot by Kimberly Evans

Somewhat interesting fire hazard

I originally bought this pot as a gift for my sister and I'm glad I decided to try it on her before she brings it home. First, aligning the magnets so the pot floats is a nightmare. It took us 3 tries before we could get it to levitate once, so after a few tries it will actually levitate. The magnet is incredibly strong, which makes installation even more of a hassle. But my main problem, which is a serious one, is that this thing gets VERY hot. We plugged it in for about 10 minutes and the magnet plate was already hot enough to burn me. So it was with the socket. I see a lot of reviews saying they keep it in their office and I would NOT recommend leaving it on for more than a few minutes (which then defeats the purpose). The "tree" is essentially a pattern printed on plastic pieces, so it's clearly not real, but I wasn't expecting it. I would not buy it again and plan to return it. Not worth $60 and an extra $20 to come here for the holidays.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Might hurt
