Well I have a utility room (horseskin saddles and gear) with a cement floor and it's very humid. Which is very difficult with leather goods. This humidifier does not work. Room of 250 sqm. ft. Before that I had a large humidifier that worked great and filled the tank with water every 3 days but it was old and stopped working. This humidifier only gets about 1/2 inch of water per day and the room still smells of mold and damp! It's only been about 5 days and I'll decide if it's worth the time and money. I like the fact that it doesn't make the room as hot as the other one.
