Review on Jiayi Magnetic Latches Cabinet Cupboard by Chris Hodges

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The first latch is broken and parts are scattered around the room

The springs in these latches are no joke, they should be able to push a heavier door or drawer with enough force. Unfortunately, the plastic plunger in this particular latch didn't retain the same amount of force. When I took the first latch out of the box and pushed/released the plunger to test it, the spring shot the plunger through space. After collecting all the parts, I noticed that the butt had broken in two at the base. I assumed this gap caused the plunger to fly out of the bolt body like a not-so-soft Nerf bullet. As expected, the latch failed to assemble, rendering it unusable.

Pros
  • Long Stroke With Magnet: Long stroke with built-in magnet, the magnet's strength ensures a secure closing point, which makes the door more tightly connected and the doors won't "drift" anymore . Make this push latch more suitable for medium sized doors.
Cons
  • Zero
