These are standard 1/4 inch bits, they are security torx which means they allow you to loosen tamper resistant torx screws which have a convex steel in the centre. They're commonly used in devices that manufacturers don't want you to mess with, like home appliances, small electronics, or certain knives and multi-tools. They also double as regular torx bits that work with standard t-8, t-10 etc. You want torx bits these are the best value as they work with both types but standard Bits don't work with secure Torx. Contrary to what I said above, hardened steel S2 bits are of good quality and appear to be of excellent quality. If you want the best and don't mind spending a decent amount, you can choose wera or wiha but if they are not used daily for your job ii they are more than adequate and last forever.
