Reviewers said it was small but I disagree. I'm 5ft 6" and 138lbs and I usually wear a size 10 jeans so in this skirt I'm a size 12. It's a little loose and sits 1 inch below my stomach. The length is about 2-3 inches above my knee (or about 2 inches below my fingertips). this has turned out to be perfect for me, i didn't want it to look ridiculously short and i prefer the clothing not to be tight around my waist. If you want it to sit higher on your waist or look shorter then buy your actual size. excellent quality for the price! (Mostly because it's only for Halloween costumes.)
