Great pump for cleaning small ponds and outdoor waterfalls.
The 15 year old pump died and it seemed a good combination of size and performance. I use this in a small outdoor pond about 3 x 6 feet and 12 inches deep, pushing water about 1.5 feet through 3/4 inch hose to a waterfall and 1/2 inch hose about half a foot by a little egret, which also spews water back into the pond. Just the right amount of energy. It is housed in a filter box and needs to be cleaned about once a week when enough pond scum is clogging the filter in the pump and the filters in my box are enough to slow the water down. Hope this lasts 15 years.
