The meter measures current, voltage and resistance. The user does not need to select a measurement range, just switch to volts and it will detect AC/DC, amps and give a reading in ohms as well as a digital reading and beep to indicate continuity. No audible tone when there is no continuity and no OL digital display. It also has a connector for connecting wires up to 12 or 10 gauge to measure current. The back has transducer slots, one of which allows the transducer to slide out of the meter's holding slot, allowing you to hold the meter with one hand and keep the transducer on the floor with the other hand for a better view of the digital screen be able. It is light and feels good in the hand. I love the smart aspects of the gauge, the name you can trust, the accuracy, durability and features. This is good value for a great product.
