Xikar videos indicate that most of the problems with their higher-end multiple-burner lighters are attributable to non-Xikar butane. I was using Calibri butane (not a cheap brand) and the switch helped. Xikar claims that their version is higher BTU. Regardless, if you're having problems with one of their lighters this will be the first fix they recommend.
