I debated and debated about whether I wanted to buy the 4 lb weights because of the color. I have mostly jewel-toned weights and I didn't want to buy the same color I already had. I eventually decided to go with the lighter blue, even though I was concerned they wouldn't "match" my set and would show wear after awhile. But I was pleasantly surprised when I got the weights because the lighter blue was darker than pictured -- more jewel-toned, thank goodness! I would say more of a Cerulean color. I've used them twice at the time of this review.Another review mentioned they felt "sticky." I definitely understand what they are trying to say because they did have somewhat of a "sticky" feel during the first use, but nothing prohibitive. After some use, that sticky feel will definitely go away, I have no doubt, because I could already tell a difference by the second time I used them. Eventually I'll want to get pair at 6 or 7 lbs, and I would definitely buy another Portzon pair.
