I debated and debated about whether I wanted to buy the 4 lb weights because of the color. I have mostly jewel-toned weights and I didn't want to buy the same color I already had. I eventually decided to go with the lighter blue, even though I was concerned they wouldn't "match" my set and would show wear after awhile. But I was pleasantly surprised when I got the weights because the lighter blue was darker than pictured -- more jewel-toned, thank goodness! I would say more of a Cerulean color.

I received this set of purple dumbells in atimely manner. At the same time I ordered a set of 10 lb red dumbells. Thet never arrived. I placed another order--damaged in shipment--returned to Ebay . I do a lot of high rep weight exercises in cardio routines and in Pilates strengthening on the mat 5 months ago I finally made myself go up from 3-lb hand weights, but didn't yet feel equal to 5-lb ones. These are just right. I use them daily and feel challenged (female, age 70, former trainer). I like purple, and these neoprene ones feel good in my hands. I recommend them.

Handgrip is short - only good for small female hands. Fortunately that’s me. Could be another 1/2” to 1” longer to fit more people.

I got these because I wanted inexpensive 1 pound weights just to use for physical therapy on my shoulder. The grip area is about 3-1/2 inches, which fits well with my men’s size 8-1/2 hands. I’m glad I found weights with gray covers since I’m not partial to the pink ones from most other brands. The weights arrived with a small cut and a dent in the neoprene covers, but not bad enough to send them back. Overall, they’re satisfactory for my purpose.

The neoprene covering seems thicker than a different brand I own, and I love that! Easy to grip, comfortable to hold onto, and they weighed in at exactly 6 lbs. These have a small hand hold and are just wide enough for my entire palm to hold it (5'4" female if that helps). I use these for occupational therapy wrist exercises. Not annoying enough to return but maybe don't get these. There is also a few spots where the material seems a bit scuffed aka minor cosmetic damage. TBH I bought them because I wanted 4lb purple ones but go for a cheaper option.

I bought these for boxing workouts. Before I put gloves on, I use these to shadow box. Easy to hold. Will not roll away. That's my feedback.

Bought these weights for my physical therapy workouts to fix my left shoulder. These feel very sturdy and worth the price I bought them for. I have been suing them for about three weeks now and I can safely saw that the 3lbs dumbbells are a good buy and for those looking weights to hold for their workouts

These were pretty much as expected except that the middles have a large circumference compared to others I’m used to. Might not be optimal for griping by small hands.

Great gripping material, colors are as shown, and came packaged very well individually in a plastic bag and couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

I ordered these 8-pound weights from Portzon because the last weights I ordered from them were really well-made and attractive. The new weights have a much thinner layer of neoprene so the color is not consistent but more importantly, a few of the corners have not been thoroughly sealed, and there are very small exposed areas of metal. I live near the ocean and hope rust won't become a problem in the future.

These weights are perfect for multitasking. I can use them while on my under desk bike; combining multiple befits, from one sitting. Easy to grip and great for getting the muscles moving again.

I purchased these the day before and with prime, I received the next day. The weights are perfect for me. I'm 5'5, 205 pounds and recently had back surgery, so I'm trying to strengthen my upper body along with my back. I have incorporated using these weights into my physical therapy exercises and I already feel muscle tightness in my arms. Time will tell if I got enough weight, but since I'm limited to only lifting 10 pounds currently, I think 6 pounds at a time is perfect. The grips feel great

I purchased the 10lb. dumbbells. These weights have a super thick grip area. If you have small hands like myself, then you might have the same problem as me.I’ve had quite a few pairs of Neoprene weights. Since I'm just starting to use weights with my exercises, I do wish that I'd selected a pair of 1 pound weights instead, but that's on me! For some exercises, I find these 3 pound weights work just fine. They're comfortable to hold and have a nice, non-slippery feel/texture!
