These weights are perfect. I bought them from Ebay Warehouse, but they are untouched.They will save my life.I always worked out. I have a Smith rack and bench, and a very good treadmill.But now I am a broken down old woman. Forced to retire by Covid, and 2 years out from extensive painful back surgery, I just sat down with my pain and sadness, and disappeared.After 16 months, was too weak to do anything. My balance is shot as is my endurance. I can barely walk. I tripped on a tree root in my yard, fell on my face and couldn't get up.Earlier, my adult son gave me two sets of pretty weights like these for Mother's day. 3lb and 5lb. Pink and magenta. Mom colors. He nagged me to get back to lifting.Then I found out, from my doctor, how much damage I have done.So back to my weights and treadmill.I am passing up the 5lbs quickly and wanted 8lbs to look forward to. I like the bright red coating.I do look forward to them. Somehow the cheerful colors make a difference. The preacher curls on the bench hurt my back. My son has dumbell bars with plates next to the bench, but really, I am not yet strong enough to handle them.The soft coating on these handweights are easier on my old hands an they don't clank.These light weights open a door for me.the way out of helplessness. The way back to myself.I guess I wanted to pass this on if anyone in the world can use the information.If you are getting old and feel the end coming.Be strong. As strong as you can get. You can get stronger. You can be old and strong.Helplessness really is the end.
