Review on 🧽 Scotch-Brite 09646 Low Scratch Scour Sponge 3000Hex, Blue (16-Pack) by Doug Daniels

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Test on an inconspicuous area first. They work well for getting rid of junk.

Scratches plastic (tried on clear plastic cups). Will not scratch glass, enamel or porcelain. I like the shape, the large surface area and they are easier to use than square jaws. They differ from my usual cleaning sponges. They have small dots that seem more effective for getting rid of stuck dirt. Maybe it's because the sponge is on a smaller area (dots) than the whole sponge when you press, or maybe they're stiffer, I don't know why, but they clean well. I've used one to wipe up spilled paint off a composite (plastic) deck and it was able to clean up the splatters. It works well on my white enamel board, which I often use to clean stains, doesn't scratch (at least not noticeably). .I would not use them on a shiny mirror surface. I tried them on a brushed stainless steel sink and couldn't find any visible scratches, but you really should test them on a small, invisible spot before using them.
