Under macOS, it also worked without problems, but only on native software. iMovie refused to identify it as a source. And, in fact, the drawback itself is that support ends on macOS Sierra. There are no drivers for High Sierra and especially Mojave. Developers have been feeding the "next quarter" for half a year now. I don’t know what’s wrong with Win10, I haven’t tried it, but formally there is support in the drivers.
