Super durable household material

I used to use 3M microfiber kitchen towels, but I might like them even better. They are quite dense and thick, and very close to a square (no rectangles or parallelograms). And I love that they sell them by the dozen because I use 2-3 a day. They will leach some brown/grey paint (I've had gray ones) into the dishwater, especially when they're new. I wash them in hot water with dark towels and line dry them and they hold up well.
