I got these to make a rolling cart. These flanges have a smaller footprint than the ones at the hardware store and they feel just as sturdy.There were spots of rust on a few of the flanges but I cleaned them off and spray painted them black so they should not rust more. Overall they look great and I already bought another set for some shelves.

My gripe with these flanges is that the threaded part is not deep enough to keep the pipe from threading all the way through and then past the bottom of the flange (see photo). If you mount the flange to a hard surface, this means that you can't thread the pipe all the way until the threads are bottomed out and tight. It might work for light applications but if you really want the best strength, you want those threads fully engaged.

I build a shelf and these flanges worked very well. I'm giving it 4 stars before I can't tell if the flanges or pipes weren't perfectly straight but it all worked out well with a little fiddling.

Good, lightweight metal. Perfect for making pipe lamps, etc. Smaller diameter than what you get from hardware stores.

Smaller than Home depot and more fragile. Broke them by using a drill. Use a screwdriver and u should be fine. That's my review.

We don’t live by the beach and they started getting rusty the first week so I don’t think they will last that long. I won’t be buying this item in the future.

They were for the project I was making. Plus the price was great. Would have spent twice as much at the local hardware store.

I recommend coating them in some oil before using them. I ended up using wood wax to seal them and prevent rusting. They show up dirty and greasy, so I washed them in soapy water and then they started rusting. a lot. but had I know that, I would have dried them and quickly applied the wood wax and then they would have worked great.

Made a curtain rod out of these and this was the last piece I needed to mount to pipe nipples and attach to wall. Exactly what I was looking for and had no problems.

One of the floor flanges in this pack had not been threaded. 9/10 were threaded perfectly. Unfortunately I needed all 10. Not sure if this is a common problem.
