. I use 75 amps max with this 100 amp circuit breaker. One fell through right away. I never expected that, so I didn't test it beforehand. Once turned on, it was half on and intermittent, with no reset or power off. Since it was only the second of four, I just put another one on and looked at it. Update, I took apart the faulty one to see how it failed. I found a plastic trigger formed from a bimetallic rod. It didn't work, it just melted at less than 75% load. The one I installed outside didn't withstand the elements and isn't waterproof . This switch still works, but water is entering both ends. One of the 50 amp fuses I bought blew about 38 amps. Since it popped the first time, it now causes high resistance, feels warm, and pops before reaching 50 amps. I have contacted the seller for a refund or replacement. Lets see what happens. I don't want to use them outdoors or in critical places.
