I purchased the 18", .9 mm chain to hold a plumeria pendant. The pendant was not large at all. it is actually quite delicate and the chain just looks like string. It is so much more fragile than I ever expected and the clasp is super tiny. The round piece that the clasp goes in is almost as small as the link on the chain.It is OK. But I definitely would not expect it to hold up to any type of stress. Even a tug on your hair if it were to get caught.This was part of a mother's day present so…

The very reason I ordered this particular chain was what I didn't like about it. It's an extremely thin, lightweight chain, and very fragile. I needed a chain with a slim clasp, because the bezel on the pendant I need it for is very small. BUT, this one is so small that I am unable to open or close it.
