- The design, strong plastic, does not bend and does not shake, that is, the build quality is at its best, at the same time, traces of dirt are almost invisible, a good screen, a physical shutter on the camera of very good quality, an excellent audio system. Not very powerful, but the sound with all frequencies reproduces deeply, it is felt that this is a stereo system, unlike some laptops. It is also worth highlighting the built-in Radeon graphics, from which games like Warface calmly run at medium graphics and physics settings. There is nothing to say about the processor - 8 cores and 16 threads at a low clock frequency (1.8 GHz), although it heats up, it is slightly heated (at rest - 38-40 degrees, at load - 60, but the fan is already connected there, at rest there is practically no working). I am glad that a separate power on has been made (not built into the keyboard area), the presence of a built-in Ethernet connector (RJ-45). Autonomy is about 6 hours in the mode of viewing texts on the Internet (most likely, working with a text editor in flight mode will keep the laptop in working order for 8-9 hours with 7 declared by the manufacturer). The mechanical strength of the case is also at a decent level. The theoretical possibility to install Windows 11 (the presence of a TRM 2.0 microchip) and upgrade the laptop (add RAM and install a second 2.5" drive). : the keyboard is waterproof, if anything, spilled tea or coffee will not kill the laptop. Regularly, a thermal pad is glued on the SSD, but this is where its cooling ends.
- Only two clic USB ports, and built-in in an unusual place, I don’t understand why the built-in USB-C. For me, this is not a drawback, but for the rest, Windows 10 is not preinstalled. The soldered 8 GB of RAM and one free slot for an additional die are also very embarring. It was also embarring - the extremely unpopular size of the M.2 SSD in the 2242 form factor - in which case it would be problematic to find a new drive, and the manufacturer does not advertise the possibility of installing a drive in the most common form factor 2280 (although there is such a de facto possibility). Another controversial aspect is the power supply, combined with an outlet. You can't go far on a soldered RAM - either change the amount of video memory in the BIOS settings (from 512 MB to 2 GB), or put a second die. Plus - Lenovo's trademark - the RAM slot is hidden behind a tin cover, which must be removed very carefully, and you will never guess how to do it. For some reason, the manufacturer put a 2242 format drive in the M.2 slot, providing it with . an extension adapter that reaches the 2280 format. The discrepancy in technical data is also embarring: advertising announces that it is possible to supply an M.2 SSD up to 1 TB and a 2.5 "HDD up to 2 TB, but the specifications allow only 512 GB for M.2 and 1 TB for 2.5".
- Price=quality! Compact:) Processor speed, memory RAM up to 16GB, this is enough for a large number of programs, probably, except for very heavy simulation / design tools. Work without recharging is enough for 8 hours of browsing or 4 hours with 4 virtual machines Fast charging - no more than two hours to 100 (even under light load) Build quality (. BUT! ) Slot for SSD The network catches well Ethernet port is a useful thing
- The case material is not easily soiled, it is quite acceptable, yet it is a budget option. The keyboard is tactile and visually budget, but it has a nice and clear key travel. TN The screen is the weakest point . again, if not compared, then it’s not critical for myself, I work in tandem with office monitors of 20 (16-18) years and everything is fine, for films it’s acceptable, but I would take a better screen ! There are enough USB ports (2pcs), but if you connect a mouse, keyboard and an external drive, you will have to use a splitter / adapter, because. there is also a usb type-c port, which saves
