Broken Ink Container

So, I bought this for my Dad because I thought it would be good for starting to use a dip pen. I was really excited to get it, but when I checked the box, the brown ink container had broken, and ink had gotten everywhere. So, he technically could have still used it, and I could have reviewed how it worked, but it's a surprise gift.

  • I really liked this product, however I have found no use for it, so I returned it.

  • The nibs may scratch or damage certain paper types

Beautiful set on my review.

I got these as a gift. So I’m not sure how they write but the gift box was gorgeous and the presentation was really in point. She loved them. The box was a little smaller than I expected but nonetheless it was still a wonderful gift.

The case comes in different colors and makes a perfect gift for someone

I purchased this beginner calligraphy kit because I am starting 2 make homemade Christmas cards and I thought it would be a good idea to learn calligraphy to make my cards look more professional and with the directions that come with the kit it makes it all worthwhile I'm very pleased.

Perfect for pen lovers

Got this for my father, he likes pens and fountain pens, we have given him lots of different things over the years but this was a nice (cheap) set that feels like it has a bit of quality to it. He likes playing around with it. It's fun and I think it can make a perfect gift.

Nice packaging but no real instruction included or on product listing.

I almost was going to review this item poorly, but eventually I started to figure out how to better use the product. The nibs are difficult to figure out If you have only worked with cartridge or refillable pen types previously. (including fountain & calligraphy pens) There is not great instruction on how to properly dip the nibs into ink, or how to properly switch each nib in/out of wooden pen. Careful if you have ink on nib & place into the holder to keep the pen upwrite. there is a hole on…

Purchased as a gift for my boyfriend he loved it the ink is nice and smooth and lasts a long time red ink Is VERY red Nice set.

Perfect for beginners or masters

This pen is just what I have been looking for. The large selection of nibs makes it easy to choose exactly what I need for a selected project. It is excellent for writing Hebrew letters as well as English.

  • Nice set, good overall value. One nib was off - imprecise so that the ink didn't deliver ink evenly.

  • Too smaller than expected or shown in the site. Box size is about a kid's water color.

I like the set! good for me

I have purchased a couple of different sets of calligraphy pens to address my graduation announcements and this set is by far my favorite. I like having multiple color choices and tip choices and I like the ink well much better than putting drops of ink down in the pen. Arrived on time and as expected

Caligraphy pen set best in my review

I like to do calligraphy but have always had a hard time keeping the pens and ink together. As a result I like the box that contains the nibs and the ink in one convenient place. With the varied nibs I can do any calligraphy work that I want.

Great quality and price

Just received this as my first set as a long time fan of lettering. There is a bit of a learning curve but I was able to figure it out through trial and error as well as a few videos online, and I am hooked.Couldn’t be happier.

Ink will not move down to the tip.

My office bought this for me to use. Unfortunately, the ink does not move down the pen to the tip very well. You can barely make one stroke with it. Don't recommend.
