The pump has been in for a week and seems to be working well , I have never used this pump before so far it seems to be a really good value

Will not pump more than ½ gallon per minute. Called Schraiberpump Company and no answer and sent or at least attempted to send emails. No reply! Crazy times due to the virus but one would think a company would at least answer the phone!

I like that the pump is connected with metal and bolts. My last pump had plastic connecting it and that’s what failed and broke after 3 years. Hoping I get a lot more than 3 years out of this pump. It does come in 2 pieces, so you have to take the screen off and the wire protection. It would be nice to have directions. I did figure out. I ran this in a barrel of water and this pump worked up to 120psi which is slightly above it's rating. It did expel some plastic dust and some type of grease. I recommend pre-running pumps before you put them in your well so the break-in materials don't contaminate the water. The control box is plastic with switches on the outside so it is not weather proof - at least not for very long.
