The side that needs to be screwed to the wall, comes loose from the cylinder, rendering the part completely useless. If you try to hold a glass with this part, the part breaks in 2 pieces : 1 piece stays attached to the wall and the other piece attached to the glass, creating a very dangerous situation of the glass falling down. This item is very crappy and does not do what it is designed for.

I love these types of fasteners. This design is every bit as good as far more expensive versions. I use my own screws and have found many uses. This time around I mounted a thin piece of trim over a strip of colored, controllable LEDs along a shelving unit. These provided standoffs for the trim and hid the lights. The look is a customized lighting fixture.

Super awesome! I wasn't sure if they'd fit or hold my 3, 18"36" (1/8" thick) layered acrylic sign but they did to my surprise! I also had holes that were small so these fit perfectly. I'm only having my sign up for a set amount of time for a showcase, so I'm not sure how the standof's will hold over time for something even heavier for a long period of time. I placed wall anchors into the wall for extra security. However, I know now that I can stack at least 3, 1/8" thick acrylic

I've ordered these in the past and they were flawless. The latest batch I ordered came and some had rust on them and others looked used. I was pretty bummed but between the old ones I had, I was able to cobble together what I needed for my last project where I used these. If I hadn't been in a hurry and needed them when I did, I would have returned them and found an alternate source.

These were a bit longer than i had anticipated, but actually looked better for the project i used them for. These DO NOT come with any screws, so you'll have to find some on your own; most drywall anchors will work just fine; i've attached a picture of the anchors i used. I was afraid I was going to have to be super precise but the screws allowed for some leeway.

These are tiny, so if you do not convert to metric, you will expect larger stand-offs. They DO NOT come with mounting hardware, ie screws. Not much use for these without screws.

Terrible quality. Unusable with defects and flawes in every one of them. Different shades of stainless steel with burn out stains on the outside. Basically unusable anyway you look at them! Not even worth returning

Many of the standoffs had irregular ends which made the standoff not line up correctly. Luckily I only needed about half of them so I used the best ones.

These work exceptionally well for mounting clear poly-carbonate signs to walls. They are easy to use, secure and hold well.
