I have two curved 27" monitors and unfortunately, this was a bit too large for it. Since my monitors had raised beveled edges around them, the screen couldn't squeeze in between so I'll just have to save it for future monitors. I did test it on the screen though and it worked quite well. It gave the screen a bit of a darker shade but not anything too drastic, and by stepping aside maybe 15 degrees, I couldn't see what was on the screen at all, except blackness, so I'd say it's pretty effective.

It appears very dark from beyond 45 degrees if you're parallel with the monitor. It's more glossy than my monitor for sure. You also have to sit at least a couple of feet from your monitor or it will have a dark shadow on either side of the monitor. It's very clear from straight on, if you're far enough away from it. The size says 27in monitor but my screen is a 28in that I found out but it doesn't cover all the way to the edge. I have an ACER CB280HK monitor and the black edge lines blocks some of the reading on the screen. It would of worked fine for my monitor if the edge lines do not cover the edge. You don't even need instructions for this. It's very easy to install on your screen. I put it on my desktop and it's just oversized yes but other than it being oversized everything is pretty simple and to the point. clean it wipe it dry it and place it then remove any air bubbles and you're done.When you angle towards the side you can see that the screen gradually starts to dark as the angle increases and that is how it is privacy protected. Although I measured as directed, this filter was just a little bit too big for my monitor. I was able to trim it down and you can't even tell it's there except for the privacy aspect. Good build quality and installing it was a breeze. However, it didn't fit my screen completely. Also, keep in mind that it will dim the brightness of the monitor a bit. However, for the purpose that it was intended for, it is a very solid product.

I know that it doesn’t seem big from the pictures but make sure to measure your computer or your laptop that you’re buying the screen for. I expected it to be smaller and it’s large so with that being said, it appears to be nice and would work good it’s just me buying the incorrect size so as long as it fits your computer, then you shouldn’t have any issues. That was my only complaint, but that’s my fault for not measuring before I purchased it.

One set of instructions showed stickers to attach the screen to the monitor yet no such stickers were present. Purchased to keep nosy coworkers out of my business. This privacy screen works great. It was easy to apply and can be done quickly. I also tried removing it and had no problem doing so. There was no residual adhesive left on my computer after, which was a relief. This screen really helps with the glare from outside light. My desk is next to a window so there are certain days or times of the day where the glare from the sun (or even just a bright cloudy day) can make working difficult and strain

I wish I could actually use this privacy screen, but it's too big for my 24" LG monitor so it's impossible to install. Seems like a high quality item, but it's not much use if it doesn't fit.

I've never had a screen for a computer so it may be different from a phone, however my screen is still pretty visible from all angles.
