Lasted 1 day. for my opinion

Fit was not great and both bulbs lasted less than one day. I installed the original 1154 bulbs and they are working fine.I hope for others' sake that it was just a bad batch.

Pros
  • used as replacement for filament bulb on 82 Yamaha chappy.
Cons
  • May require additional wiring to function properly

They do not work as described

These cannot function as a tail light / brake light. While it appears that there are two circuits and a set of LED for both that is not the case. When voltage is applied to either circuit, ALL LEDs come on so no tail light and then a brighter light when a brake is applied - they are ALL ON ALWAYS. Stupid crappy Chinese quality control.

Pros
  • Brighter than an incandescent and draws low wattage πŸ‘πŸ»
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain types of turn signal or tail light systems

Low Amperage best in my review

Worked great in my antique vehicle with 6 volt system for both the tail lamps and stop lights. Low current draw and long life expectancy makes them a great value.

Pros
  • I installed these in my 1951 farmall cub with a positive ground 6 volt and works great
Cons
  • Lasted about 1 hour

Works great in a Honda CT90 K2

Installed in a 1970 Honda CT90 K2. Works great as a tail light. I'm not sure how bright it is, as I haven't seen it at night yet, but it works nicely in the daytime as a running light.

Pros
  • Just enough brightness so everybody could see you on your motorcycle at night
Cons
  • was expecting it to be brighter. Did not put out a lot of light. It does work though.

Would not buy again.

Installed these in a 1978 Puch moped which is a 6 volt system. The lights stopped working on my first ride. Come to find out all the LEDs literally fell off the circuit boards.

Pros
  • Nice pure white light...low current draw and a nice addition to a old 6 volt motorcycle.
Cons
  • May not be bright enough for some users

Total junk. All failed. Some totally fell apart. See picture.

LED BULB Burned out right away after installation. Did not last more then an hour after installation. Fortunately I had bought 2 and the second bulb is still working for now.

Pros
  • Exactly what I needed
Cons
  • Much less light output than the 6 v incandescent bulb (1153) it replaced.

Not durable in my review

They fall apart and quit working after a couple months. If you have a bike / moto that vibrates a bunch, these will not last long on them.

Pros
  • These work great and less draw on the circuit. Much brighter than regular bulbs.
Cons
  • Installation may be difficult for those without DIY experience

Poor construction - my new review

Installed the bulbs in a vintage 6V motorcycle and after one ride of about 20 miles multiple single LEDs detached from the PCB and caused them to fail. In addition parts inside the bulb also came loose.Very disappointed as there are not many 6V options in this bulb size.

Pros
  • Bulbs worked as expected
Cons
  • Not suitable for all types of vehicles

Great for vintage cars

These worked great for my vintage car. The LEDs are 10 times brighter than the original bulbs which makes it safer to drive in daylight due to the old bulbs were hard to see in direct sunlight

Pros
  • 3.Application:Reverse Light and Backup Lights, Brake Lights,Turn Signal Light, Rv lights,Corner Light, Tail Light, Daytime Running Light, etc.
Cons
  • May not be covered under the manufacturer's warranty if improperly installed

Watch the polarity in my review

Bought 2 sets of these LED's for a car that has a 6V positive ground system.1 pair worked well however the other pair did not.Checked them with a battery and found that 1 pair was polarity sensitive and only worked with a neg.ground. That pair came in a slightly larger box. Don't know why the same part number would differ. So be careful. Some of these on revain do state they are non- polarity.

Pros
  • 1.Package content: 2pcs 1156/BA15S 6V 5050 12SMD Chipsets LED bulbs.Color:6000K White.
Cons
  • May not emit light consistently over time

Works great for my opinion

Used these to replaced 6v incandescent lights on a Honda cb125, so much brighter making the bike more visible on the road.

Pros
  • Very good
Cons
  • Not compatible with all types of light fixtures

Less power but not insanely bright

I bought these for my '74 CT70 because I thought the incandescent light just wasn't bright enough for day time use, and it used way to much power. So I installed the LEDs and finally my turn signals actually flash with the brakes applied because of the low power usage, but I expected them to be brighter. For some reason they are actually dimmer than the incandescent light that was previously installed. Obviously you can see them very well from before and at sunrise and after and at sunset and…

Pros
  • Would but agen
Cons
  • In my Tacoma the running light does work but the brake light works

You're Blinding Me !

You're blinding me! I installed this bulb on my 1972 Yamaha DT250 Enduro (6 volt) The 6 volt charging system is no better than a lawnmower so the standard filament bulbs were not bright and it was tough to see it any brighter with the brake light on. With these LED Bulbs it lights up much-much brighter as same as a modern motorcycle and the best part it uses less power. They are well made, they look handmade with perfect soder joints. They are a 2 filament bulb that doubles as a tail and brake…

Pros
  • much brighter than original bulb, now people can see my 6volt brake light during the day.
Cons
  • Difficult to source replacement bulbs

Broke within 5mins of use.

I bought these to update an old moped with a 6v electrical system. After swapping one out, less than five minutes into riding my headlight goes dark. Checking out the problem, seems like the top group of LEDs in the LED complex had come desoldered. Popped in the second light to the exact same result -- so doesn't seem likely one was just a lemon. Maybe my magneto's giving off spikes in voltage too high for whatever solder is being used, or maybe the vibration on riding's just too much for the…

Pros
  • A+perfect
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain types of automotive electrical systems

Very low light output

I purchased these 6VDC LED's to increase the lumen output on the classic 1938 Ford pickup. The output was noticeably lower than the incandescent tail/brake light bulbs I was using. Maybe i'll use them for front park/turn signal.

Pros
  • Excellent product!
Cons
  • had to remove them and and both snapped during the removal

Works for Honda CT70

I have 2 Honda CT70's, a K0 and a K1. These work great for the tail/brake light. I can't comment on the longevity since I just got them.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • May not be fully compliant with local traffic laws
