Strong ramp that looks great

Very strong, nice looking ramp that will never rust!Took me a few minutes to figure out how it went together. When one steps on it, there is a sound made when the metal strikes the concrete walkway, but that acts as my automatic doorbell! I could probably put a thin piece of wood under it to dampen the sound. Just wanted to let you know in case that might be an issue with you!

Pros
  • very nicely made, easy to assemble and install, works as intended. doesn't get any better than that.
Cons
  • The cost of the ramp may be prohibitive for some consumers

Dangerous for power chair - too steep

If you're looking to use this ramp for a power chair at a 3" height, this ramp is too steep. My husband tested it for me in my chair - the front wheels came off the ground and he nearly tipped over backward. This should NOT be advertised as a wheelchair ramp as it is much steeper than ADA guidelines.Read the return policy carefully before deciding to buy this ramp - not only do you pay return shipping, but they deduct the cost of their original "free" shipping from the refund.

Pros
  • Great product, easy to assemble & quality is very good
Cons
  • It may be difficult to clean and maintain, particularly if it becomes tarnished or corroded

Great device on my review.

After my husbands failed back surgery & being confined to a wheelchair for a year, I don’t know what I would have done without the ramp to get him in and out of the house! Without altering my entire front porch, this ramp was a lifesaver. He uses a walker now but I still put the ramp up to haul cases of water & groceries, on my hand cart, into the house.

Pros
  • great ramp. works perfectly where we need it!
Cons
  • The ramp may not be sturdy enough to support heavier power chairs or mobility scooters

Works well - my new review

Its good, but at 3 inches you will need someone to steady the chair - so it doesn't roll backwards. Just saying. Makes it WAY easier to get in and out, but at this height, you still need a helper / guide / wife /husband holding the handles. Personally I would have preferred it be a foot or two longer so a person could get out by themselves.

Pros
  • Works great.
Cons
  • The design may not be aesthetically pleasing, detracting from the overall appearance of a building or entranceway

The ramp works great and is cost effective

They say I need 20 words or more to submit this review so I hope revain counts these. The ramp works great as a threshold to our redwood deck ramp and now my father's scooter doesn't get stuck at the bottom of the deck.

Pros
  • excellent fit to the door for easy access.
Cons
  • The aluminum material can become hot in direct sunlight, making it uncomfortable for users to touch

Didn't work for me

It might work for a wheelchair, however I use a walker and this ramp is too steep for that. I felt it was unsafe for me, as my walker was going downhill too quickly. I am returning it.

Pros
  • wish it came in a wider width.
Cons
  • Over time, the aluminum material may become dented or scratched, detracting from its appearance

strong ramp but loose if you don't nail down

this ramp is great and can store compactthe only downside is there's nothing to keep the parts together once assembled unless you nail the sucker down into the concretei dunt want to dew dat.i gotta use tape.(still good)

Pros
  • Built well. Assembles easily. Recommend.
Cons
  • It may take up too much space when not in use, making it difficult to store
