I've used these to freeze homemade baby food. Some notes and tips- each hex is 2 tsp - for me this is perfect for mixing different foods- cleans up well in the dishwasher but doesn't always dry well; the lids are floppy and awkward to put in the dishwasher but still manage to come out clean- cleans up well with just a rinse; sometimes I get lazy about washing and want to make another batch of baby food and just get it in the freezer so I just rinse these and I haven't had any issues- does not…

A couple things- there is a terrible chemical smell imbedded in these that didn’t come out after washing with warm soap and water several times. The size is much smaller than a typical ice cube tray as are the cubes- I had bought these thinking it was about the same size and a little wider so I would get more ice- this is not the case. Finally the lid is a soft silicone lid, not a hard lid. Which makes stacking difficult. All in all not pleased at all with this purchase. Save your $$

I'll be honest, the bar for this item isn't super high. All it has to do is contain water while it freezes, and it does that without a hitch. I like the covers, too, since they help ensure nothing dips into the water while it's freezing. Overall, it works and does what it says, so I'm very pleased with it.

Love this ice cube tray, but there is the industrial powder coating of some sort that they are covered in. I've washed them more times than I can count, boiled them, soaked them. And still get this powder coating the inside if my cups when I use the ice cubes. It like coats your mouth too. The photo is how much powder I get now after so many washes, but the first few times it was THICK, and not the good kind.

I use these for freezing mashed up fruit. I love the covers, and the stretch of the silicone makes it easy to remove the item fruit once frozen.

Eh, I like the cube shape and size, but you will spend close to 15 minutes just removing the ice from the trays. Not worth it!

I wanted to like these trays but unfortunately I couldn't. They are extremely flimsy and the cover is even worse. That's my feedback.

These ice cubes are compact and I like the cover that comes with them. They stack well like that. It is hard to remove the cubes though. It requires a lot of pushing and stretching, but you do get perfectly hexagonal ice cubes, and it takes up less space in the freezer than "normal" ice trays. If you don't mind the extra time and effort to remove them, they're good, but I seriously considered returning them (hence only three stars).

Makes cute ice but you have to pop out every single, tiny ice cube individually. Also doesn’t hold its shape between the sink and fridge so you have to put something rigid under it

I wanted to love these. However, every time I use them, I end up with weird particles in my drinks. It’s kind of a waxy looking milky white substance. I’ve thoroughly washed the several times, I’ve tried using warm and cold water, filtered water, and also use them with and without the tops. I still end up with white flakes in my drinks. Severely disappointed. I meant to return them, but never got around to it.

Initially, I washed the trays and covers in hot soapy water to remove any manufacturing residue. Unfortunately, the tops did not fit snugly after the wash. The trays are too flimsy for my taste. Also, Product is smaller than I expected. Each tray is good for one glass of ice. Upon filling with water the trays needs to be supported with a tray or a flat plate to transfer them to the freezer without spilling.

Price would've been good if product was. Like anything else, you receive it, you clean/wash it, & in this case a few times. But look at the pix, OMG! I've used this cup 3 yrs w/zero issues then suddenly I started seeing this. Immediately thinking I'd done something I washed it but Good! It appeared again. Ok so I looooooove how easy they are to remove the ice cubes, I don’t even need the tongs I just push it off the bottom! That being said the tops are pretty flimsy so I wish they offered a bit more security. Even stacking them up on top of one another the tops are never fully "on”. Besides that little hiccup, they’re perfect for cocktails!
