30-Piece Set Of Fuyit Unfinished Wood Slices: 2.8-3.1 Inches, Natural Tree Circles With Bark, Undrilled For Art Projects, Painting, Christmas Ornaments, And DIY Crafts Review

I loved these, they are soft and easy to paint on and perfect size. BUT they do crack alot of slices split when before and after I painted on them. I make custom Christmas ornaments and a few of my customers received their order and the wood was spitting While hanging on the tree!

Ordered this for pour coaster project and when received not all the pieces are consistent with the sizing in description. Some were considerably smaller than what should have been and so small wont even allow to be coaster. Ordered the 2.8-3.1" to allow for this but some were only 2" in diameter and even one was 1.5". Only a few in package came as the 3.1". They are nice but if you want consistency would look for other option.

I started painting these a few days ago and they were all perfect, I really loved them. I popped my decals on half yesterday and about an hour ago I hear random cracking noises. I look over and one by one they started splitting, a little at first but the crack grows. As I'm typing this I hear another one cracking. Really disappointed, as I was loving how they turned out but now I can't gift them since they could break at any time.

I used these to make coasters. They are a great price and very smooth. They arrived quickly. I will be buying these again!

We used them as coasters for a bridal shower-Fairy Garden theme. Worked out perfect. Perfect size for stemmed wine glasses. Will use them now to make Holiday ornaments.

Glued them to a board and as they dry they make popping sounds as they crack. They don’t split in half, but they split from the center out. For my project it didn’t matter, in fact it made them look more natural and varied. This happened to every size wood slice I ordered.

The wood slices are exactly as the picture, i wish i would’ve just been more careful with ordering the correct size, other than that they are great

There were no holes drilled into the wood slices, for me that was important. The shipment I received was consistent in diameter and that was important. They were kiln dried so they shouldn’t split or crack later, that was important. As you can see they work well for the birdie gnomes that can either sit or hang…there’s a hook on the back! Great value, I hope this helps someone decide!

These are good little pieces of wood for wood burning and they also make great coasters as is. I was worried when I ordered them that the bark would fall off but that hasn't been an issue at all.

These were perfect for painting, the surface is fairly smooth and all of the bark was still intact. Have purchased this item twice and will likely buy again once I run out.

My first set was great, but my second set did not come with the strings and didn’t have pre drilled holes like the first set. Overall nice.

I bought these for a wood burning project. However I didn't really read the description closely. I thought this would be ok for coasters. Ummm nope. There were some on there that are good but not sure what I will do with the rest. Beside the size issue these are great quality

I LOVE these wood pieces. I use them to make ornaments and they work perfectly! Some did have cracks but they are wooden so that's to be expected.

These are exactly what I needed. Uniformly cut and the size was pretty consistent. I read to be careful that the bark does not not fall off. I haven’t had that problem so far.

Loving these wood slices. I ordered two and half a few that were broken unusable but less than five of them. Over all I am really happy with the way they are turning out. The next time though I will buy predrilled just to save me time.

They were as described, there were several that had cracks in them, but I am trying sealing them first to try and keep the rest from cracking.

DO NOT BUYWhen I opened the package, there were 4 cracked. I painted the others and later noticed that 6 more were cracked. Today when I went to drill the hole in them. there were multiple more with cracks.Almost every single one of mine cracked so I ended up just trashing my entire project.

I am using these to wood burn trees as a favor for a woodland themed baby shower. The pieces are beautiful light wood with lovely bark on the outside.

This is a very good product, the slices are as closed to circular as possible. they have a good thickness and are very beautiful. Perfect for painting on.
