It improved my truck a lot. I had yet to change the filter before buying it so the change was noticeable but if my friend hadn't recommended it I would never have bought it. Anyway, I'm so glad I did and even put a logo decal on my truck.

I ordered this filter because of the K&N name but when I received the first filter it did NOT fit. Did more research and the box it came in had the correct part number BUT found the filter didn't have the same number. Notified Revain of the error and they gave me the correct filter overnight and fitted like a champ! Thanks to the support team and K&N!

Always replace the standard air filter with a K&N one. Cold air intake kits are not required as the standard intake systems are very well designed. So put this filter on and let the engine breathe a lot more. Plus, it lasts a long time, you don't even have to wash it. Be sure to vacuum up excess oil from the filter before installing it on your vehicle or you could damage the mass air flow sensor.

My truck seems to like the filter. The MPG went up a bit and that might have added a few horsepower. The noise has changed to a deeper tone when accelerating, which also tells me there's a little more air moving in it. My ranger is in like new condition. This filter made the engine run weird. The engine gave off erratic bursts of power. The truck had an odd squeak, not a pleasant sound. Pretty good filter for people who drive a lot and/or in dusty places. Installing the filter on my 2011 Ford Ranger was tricky but not complicated.
