SUPER STRONG BACKING - Cloth backing resists shredding and tearing. Cloth backing helps to reduce the possibility of small fragments being left on the prepared surface. Entire cloth is resin cured for added durability and resistance to heat. Recommended Applications include Stripping paint to metal, Deburring, Rust removal and Preparing metal surfaces for treatments and repair. This is the only way to buy sandpaper

I don't work on many projects but when I do I inevitably have to make several trips to the hardware store for different grit sandpaper . Purchasing such a package makes additional travel easier and represents good value for money.

Suitable for grinding glass edges, but there are better options.

Purchased to sand the edges of glass and it does the job but takes a very long time and goes through the paper fairly quickly. If I continue this hobby, I will probably switch to real diamond grit.

Works great for metal.

Works great for metal. I bought this to file a flute body that was too tight for ease of assembly/disassembly. He also did a great job leveling guitar frets and sanding down the cork on a muffler. The cloth backing makes it easy to tear into strips to suit the job at hand and offers flexibility on rounded surfaces where paper sanding paraphernalia can tear and break.
