REDUCES SEDIMENT - This system provides fine sediment filtration down to five micron nominal for cleaner drinking water. TRANSPARENT HOUSING - This system's housing is transparent, offering an easy view of the cartridge. WHOLE HOUSE FILTRATION - This system filters water throughout the home for appliances, sinks, bathrooms, and laundry. IDEAL FOR HOMES WITH UP TO TWO BATHROOMS - This system is recommended households with up to two bathrooms. REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGE OPTIONS - Use AP110, AP1001, AP117, or AP420 drop-in cartridges in this AP100 series housing. CHANGE CARTRIDGE EVERY SIX MONTHS - To maximize system performance and efficiency, regularly scheduled maintenance, including replacement of the cartridge every six months (or sooner if a reduction in water flow occurs) is required. Filter life is dependent on actual use and incoming water quality.

Simple, functional, thin.

Tools work. There are no leaks from the relief valve. I used a stainless steel bracket to support the filter and reduce stress on the Sharkbite fittings during filter changes.

The 3M whole house water filter was a pleasure to install. Bella has been in the plumbing and heating business for over 34 years and 3M make an exceptional product!

It is best to install a water filter and softener

The thread on the device is not suitable for copper pipes. It took three tries with teflon paste to seal. Just installed, worried about how tight the connection can be twisted before the plastic cracks and not knowing how well the device will resist leakage.

More reliable than AP101T (see note) and provides good whole house filtering.

A reliable replacement for the AP101T with a built in valve that leaks over time and cannot be quickly repaired. This model requires at least one external valve and is therefore more expensive to install. We use two of these in parallel to ensure higher flow and longer life. We have been using filters for about 10 years and thanks to them the water quality has gotten much better. All in all a good solution for filtering around the house.
