🎥 3M Scotch 5952 VHB Tape: 1 inch x 15 feet - Black Review

I am using this to mount 4 solar panels on the fiberglass roof of my van. Driven 500 km on the highway and in the mountains, no problems yet. I used a strip at the top to attach the rear license plate. One day, as I was leaving the gas station, I encountered a disturbance and heard a loud bang. After speaking to a 3M rep, we purchased this tape on his recommendation to put dash cams back on our bus windshields. When we had to replace the windshield, we couldn't find any adhesive strong enough to hold the drive cams securely. It is imperative that all replacement tapes/adhesives are always peeled off during the hot and sunny summer months. But double-sided tape helps! I've been using this stuff for projects for about 6 months now and it's just frustrating. Problems: - The plastic separating the adhesive material is very difficult to remove. In many cases it will stick better to plastic than to the surface you are trying to prepare.
