Second 3m mouse pad and I chose the larger version. I'm glad I did. I almost never reach the edge of the mat, even when slowing down my mouse speed for more precise control. My mouse works better. So soft. It stays on the table. The pad is comfortable for hours. Stay clean. Looks beautiful. It's lightweight, so it stays very flat and offers stable contact.

The wrist rest is incredibly comfortable. The design is perfectly symmetrical (yes, I'm left-handed). The mouse surface makes my laser mouse track better than I ever thought possible. This item is designed to withstand heavy use compared to other mouse pads/wrist rests. It also has a lot of weight. Its underside sticks to my desk surface so it doesn't move, which is good. It also seems to track well. I bought 2 pieces (one for me and my wife). She loves it. The downside is that it's a little pricey, but overall it's worth it in my opinion.

This mouse pad got to the point where I tried bending the edges back down because they were warping. So flat in the middle but the edges came off the table. This caused mouse tracking to fail whenever the mouse was near the edges because the surface was uneven. Trying to get it back into shape only worked temporarily before I had to do it every day. The comfort and ergonomics were fine, but this mat only lasted a few months before becoming unusable. I paid $21 and it wasn't worth it.
