4392065 Whirlpool Kenmore Including Rollers Review

After doing some research I have concluded that my Roper dryer needs new rollers. Every time I turned it on it made a loud bang - no other issues. I watched a youtube video and saw that this is a very easy repair so I decided to buy this kit and do it myself. In the worst case, I would have to call in a craftsman for my already noisy dryer. After watching a few videos with access to parts, disassembly was an easy task. As with some of the other reviews, I found the reels to be quite tight on the waves. I took advice and after thorough cleaning of the waves applied some lubricant. Seems to have done its job. Time will tell but for half the price it was worth it. This is a much higher quality kit than others available at Revain; It comes in a neatly packed box, not loose packaging, and includes instructions for each step. The pulley in this kit has a different angle of the pulley arm - at rest it is much further to the left than the original part. This puts much more stress on the drum because the arm on the right is under tension. After 35 years, will an OEM part show metal fatigue and bend to the right? I don't see any cracks at the bend.
