I purchased this truck bed accessory for my automotive business and was extremely disappointed with its performance. After only a few uses, it began to show signs of wear and tear and eventually broke altogether. The only positive aspect was its initial ease of installation. However, the cons FAR outweigh the pros as the product did not last long and proved to be unreliable... I do not recommend this product to anyone in the market for a durable and long-lasting bed accessory..

This latch installed exactly like the original and the cable was the same length as the original. Easy assembly after I was able to mount a defective original on the bolt. The tailgate now closes and opens easily, and the new latch feels good and clearly engages when you pull the lift handle. Very satisfied especially since it was 1/3 the price of the original.
