Stickers and Stones.

We have quite a few throw rugs around our home, and they're thick enough to not need a rug pad underneath. Ergo, we just use non-stick pads. They work well, but can be a bit pricey, and show like crazy if your rug shifts a bit. With 2 kids and 2 cats, my rugs shift quite a bit.I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this wasn't necessarily it. I knew this would be something that would attach to the corners of the rug. I guess at that point I figured each piece would have the standard…

Pros
  • I was skeptical on these but they work great.
Cons
  • The adhesive may leave residue or damage the floor surface over time, requiring costly repairs or replacements

Great for pets!: my feedback

I used these on a runner rug in my kitchen. I have 3 medium-sized dogs and they are always causing the rug to slide all over the floor. These were easy to apply and so far withstanding my dogs and keeping my rug in place.

Pros
  • ‎9.1 ounces
Cons
  • Can be difficult to install and adjust, requiring a lot of time and effort to set up properly

Carpet tape works better

The rug grippers are easy to install and stick to the floor just fine. In fact, they are difficult to remove from the floor once down. Unfortunately they do not stick to the back of the rug at all. They feel sticky but they just don't stick to the backing. I'd pass and go for carpet tape instead.

Pros
  • Underlayments
Cons
  • The grippers may not work well on uneven or textured surfaces, leading to slipping and tripping hazards

Good for my bathroom mats

I was tired of my bathroom mat sliding all over. These rub grippers are perfect. I cut them up into smaller pieces and they stick to the floor almost like suction cups. Easy to remove too if you need pop them off with a butter knife. Works great!

Pros
  • Flooring
Cons
  • Not recommended for use with heavy or large area rugs, as the grippers may not have enough strength to keep them in place
