Nothing but the very best!

After researching different types and brands and comparing the performance upgrades for four or more cold air intake kits for my 2004 Holden Monaro (read Pontiac GTO). I wisely purchased the stock K&N Gen II kit which is incredibly easy to install as it was carefully designed to fit the engine with no modifications. The increase in performance is as shown in the attached graphic. This mod is everything. No issues or quirks, although I'm not sure why the Gen II kit can't be offered in flashy…

good stuff - too expensive for what it is.

k&n knows how to make and pack a product. You get everything you need in terms of equipment and quality! The instructions are clear and you also get a dynamometer sheet from your test mule. Of course, the elusive CARB decal is included. I know it's flat but I was impressed with the quality of the heat shield assembly. Pretty nice model for a 2004 GTO but I fitted it to my LS1 which has been replaced by a Nissan S14. I bought this to complete the legal aspect of the exchange. Can't claim a…

HP Gain with Filter Noise

Installed on a 2004 Pontiac GTO with 8.5mm MSD (LS1 Common Kit) cables and NGK TR5IX Iridium connectors with 0.040" spacing. Previously, the vehicle would output the engine codes for the right and left bank engines when running lean/rich. New spark plugs and wires cleared this code. The car has a bit more noticeable torque which makes it MUCH easier to get the tires off.
