This increased my MPG by about 10 MPG or so. I used to be 46 and now I'm 55-60. I also have other mods for my car that allow me to get the most out of my small diesel engine. The only thing that takes some getting used to is the sound, you can hear all the air just being forced into the engine. While that's good, I notice that my engine revs less when I accelerate slowly. It also increased my throttle response.

In fact it works exactly as advertised, the car works better, I didn't leave it long enough to know if the running helped but it certainly didn't hurt. I bought it to increase fuel economy, why did I take it off, K&N said they would add sound, they didn't say how much extra sound, it got a little bit louder.
