Charging does not match 3DS port. And now it refuses to work at all within a week. I would not recommend this item if you want something durable that will last more than a month.

First time use of cable with 2DS XL. It worked in the car but the USB connector broke when removed from the charger. The line is very hard and rough. The item was returned and replaced, so this review can be re-checked after using a replacement. UPDATE: Still only 1 star. The replacement cable broke on the third use. Not a quality product.

I saw another reviewer mention her rabbit doesn't care about the cord. I decided to test this theory for myself. I really like the crunch of the cord. I had to fend them off. As for the string, he still works with the rabbit and pulls out a piece! Although I will definitely be buying more as my rabbit spooks all the ropes and cords.

After my rabbit discovered and had fun with my very fragile standard DS charger I needed a replacement for a more durable one. So far it has held up very well. Rabbit hasn't spotted this yet, but I'm hoping the mesh tube will deter her if she ever stumbles across it. The only thing I would change is to buy a size up. The 5 foot cable doesn't go as far as I thought it would. Besides, it's a great purchase, especially for people with pets.

Stops working after a while. Bought one and after about 3 months stopped charging 3DS bought another one expecting it would just be crap. First returned, only a few months now. it does not boot the system. The system is new since December 2017. So I'm done with that, stick with the unreliable one, although I was able to return the other one. I might as well try a cheaper double size version. UGH can't just work.

I really like this charger for my 2DS. The mesh itself on the wire is strong and flexes well. I bought this because my cat chewed through the original cable. She tried briefly to do the same with this one, but she didn't particularly like this grid. Another point is that the length is quite decent for playing on the couch or before bed. They are falsely promoting this item as high quality with convincing images of the supposed "quality design". I don't know if they lied about the quality of the wiring or what, but now it has a broken wire in just a few months of use.
